This is a collaborative project between artists/friends. Similar to that of a theatre ensemble. These are scenes, not short films. These scenes will be rehearsed and then shot on location with broadcast quality DV. Over the course of a year, as each event is completed it will be uploaded onto a website. After the scenes are uploaded they will be strung together to create a feature.
The premise of these scenes is that they take place in New York City at the same time, 3:59pm (hence the working title). There are over a million things happening in NYC at the same time. The length of the scenes can be anywhere from 1 minute to 10 minutes, whatever the time it takes to make it complete. These are to be character driven events that explore emotion – how a person behaves in a certain situation.
